Sometimes you love something and you can't say why. To Patriko is a lovely place always crammed with people. The food is very good (the uncle's meatballs were a surprise) but also the fish is good (be warned if you're American, food will look at you if you order a sea bream). The service is very Greek... As of summer 2023 a whole bunch of kids help the waiters. They're lovely and funny, to be honest but if you're prissy about service then go elsewhere. I recommend this place and invite all future patrons to take life slowly.

What a gem of a find in Argostoli! Prices are very reasonable, food portions are huge and food is DELICIOUS. Tzatziki was on point and meat platter for one was a large portion, which was enough to feed 2 people. Highlight was definitely the fried calamari- well seasoned (not too salty) and cooked perfectly, tender to bite (not at all rubbery like other places may serve). Also, the “chips” served with the meat platter was roasted potatoes, cooked to perfection. Loved my experience here and definitely recommend!

Now, let's be honest, watching the staff at Patriko is not for the faint of heart. It's like a high-stakes game of culinary chaos, and you're a lucky spectator. But trust me, the entertainment value is worth it. It's a show in itself. But enough about the spectacle; let's talk about the food. Every dish I've tried has been an absolute delight. From the hearty Greek salads to the succulent grilled meats, the flavors are bold, fresh, and oh-so satisfying. It's the kind of food that makes you want to lick your plate clean. I honestly recommend just turning up and waiting for a table. They don't take bookings!

We came here because we couldn’t find any other places that had the possibility to give us a table. Lucky us because we found one of the best places of Argastoli to eat! We had a really good night, the waiters were so kind and even it was basically full they gave us a table! The food was amazing, we took the fried sardines, the different dips and the tuna steak. It was all frash and home-made. I would definitely recommend this place because i’ve felt at home. They offer us a drink they made! Also the baklava was delicious!

Highly recommended, by a self-proclaimed foodie. Not only was the food outstanding, fresh, and tasty - the portion sizes were fantastic. ‘Grandmas Lamb and Beef Kebab’ is a MUST - and/or the meat platter which is beautifully smoked, tasty meat. As well as the wonderful home-cooked style food, the service was brilliant. A fantastic team who had real fun whilst working, and made us feel so welcome. The owner was a real fun character and took the time to chat to everybody as if they were close friends. We don’t often go back to a restaurant more than once when on holiday, but we had to come back on our final night to soak up the brilliant atmosphere and food. The hangover this morning was well worth it.

It has taken me this long to find the name for this restaurant to give it my review. Lucky its a small island and its colourful otherwise I will probably will be still looking. I love this restaurant and the boss too. Everyone works hard and great as a team. Great atmosphere and along the harbour. If you are a seafood lover like us. You will enjoy it here. It is worth the wait we ate here twice and the same kind of service. Some portions are bigger than others, depending what you are having. Served at the end with watermelon and melon, which was really refreshing.(shown in the picture below) We had ordered the swordfish & Tuna steak, Calamari with chips. They have a unique signature sauce the kids ordered more and had it with everything we ordered
